I was a fifth year senior in '79 and in the stands for the USC game. That was right there with '07 Florida.

Interesting story... I was in the south endzone with my four year old son for the game. After the game we were standing near the portal where the opposing team exits the field and TT was walking off with Mullen consoling him. We were 20 ft. from him and my boy yells out, "look daddy, that big boy is crying!" They both look at my son and he grabbed my leg hard.

True story.

I've got a lot of respect for TT as well.

i'll never forget what it was like, when they announced the Stanford-USC score

i thought the stadium was going to f-ing take off.

never experienced anything like that. even as a student. LSU vs AU 95, LSU vs UF 97 on tommy banks score, and LSU vs tenn (forgot the year) when toefield ran like 80 yards down sideline. all come close. (i was not able to attend LSU vs UGA 03)

and for UF 07 and i was in the southeast side about 12 seats from the visitors section.

Florida 2007 will go down as one of the best and one of my all time favorite games I've ever been to in Tiger Stadium. I'm hesitant to put it at #1 but I could probably make a case for it.

I feel the same way... When they announced Stanford had upset USC.... Man it was nuts

This and Georgia 03. ULL fans will argue their game against UL Monroe was better

I went to the talk. He also said that he enjoyed his official visit to LSU and loved the food, but in the end, he wanted to stay home and play for the Gators. Mentioned LSU a lot, never mentioned ULL.

Agreed, you may not like the guy, or his style of play. But he won games at Florida. You gotta respect that

I had a conversation a few weeks ago with the kicker on those Tebow UF teams, Jon Phillips. He said Tiger Stadium was the only stadium he played in where he was legitimately scared for his safety.

Despite his ineptitude in the pros, this is 100% correct.

because he was a Pro QB. Flat out. If he had been willing to make a position change, his motivation to succeed and motivate would have kept him in the game today.
