I heard this on a youtube video about Tiger Stadium, and i thought it was quite appropiate. We kinda do a good job of worshipping our team, we bow down to our defense when they stop someone on 3rd down, the area is heavily populated catholic.

Les Miles is a Demi-God. We have our own altar aka behind the line-of scrimmage where we sacrifice opposing QB's. I'll add some more if I think of anything. Sorry if germans

Should probably look for another term. Demigods are generally born to their status. Its not earned through accomplishment.

I'm guessing you haven't been to a game in a while?
