will this Plaza incude a food court or is that still being debated. I know at one time LSU was looking into having kiosks for food,

I dunno about the food courts, but someone said the plan was for the PMAC ramps to be demolished in order to make a space for Gameday.

There won't even be a street next year. It's being converted to a plaza.

Thank God. Those busses that they park on North Stadium Drive make it damn near impossible to get out of the stadium when the game's over.

Don't see this happening with respect. BTW, I'm going to borrow your sig quote for a post on the SECR.

Here's proof that the "Master Plan" is just a plan. Several things on the map didn't happen and several things not on the map did happen. I know the current MP being worked on addresses a lot of site changes around the area North of N. Stadium and West of Nicholson but I don't know specifics. However, even if the new MP shows the road being turned into a larger plaza, that doesn't mean it's gonna happen. Likewise, it could show the road remaining and might still be removed. I do know that the plans for the current plaza being built on the North side of stadium do not address any changes with the road.

From every thing I see and hear, yes, it is.

Where will the 1,500 upper deck seats be located? On top of the entire structure? Tried to figure out from the pics but can't tell, and didn't find any info on the upper deck seats.

Could you be more specific? SEZ or NEZ? SEZ you can see it all here.

NEZ we won't even get hints until 2015 at the earliest.

as well as about 1,500 general public seats above the current south end zone bowl.

Information will be provided in 2013 on the upper deck seats.

That is the existing sidewalk you're seeing.

The current location of the road is nowhere near that close to the stadium.

ETA:

This is what LSU released.

More pics here.

Dude, we'll all know for sure in January. That was always when the work was due to commence.

Take another look at that pic:

If that was all walkway, and North Stadium Drive was all the way to the right in that picture, no one here would be wondering how LSU was going to have room for a NEZ expansion.

Look at the locations of the gates and pedestals on the rendering and on the plan view that I linked. They are the same gates.
