I'll be honest. I'm a little disappointed that I can't make It'll never be ready in time jokes.

The progress of work will begin getting faster and faster and the larger projects are completed, and contractors begin focusing on smaller punch list work.
I think the deadline will be met, or be damn close to it.

Solid argument right there. Thanks for enlightening me.
you too. gotta love blind optimism by lsu fans when its obvious the outcome will not turn out how they had hoped.

Funny how large that LSU sign looks on the ground and how small it looks atop the video board.

Just goes to show how large the video board actually is.

you're a moron...
Because i have a problem with a bunch of different sized cinder block buildings be stuck on top of the otherwise pretty symmetrical upper deck?

Yup...that's one reason. But if you can find fault with something as amazing as this project, there are probably many other reasons.
Posted on 5/10/14 at 11:39 am to Daigeaux
You call it amazing only because its LSU. If it were bama or a&m you, along with everybody else would be talking about how goofy the cinder block structures look.

there is no reason to believe that they will. very poor design
I get that you think they look like shite. But in the months of you bitching about them you've never once offered a solution.
Nevermind the fact that you claimed at first they were forgotten about.

I was coming to post this. This is the cat that claimed LSU forgot bathrooms, ramps and elevators.
As far as a solution goes. I'd think a simple type of awning over the buildings could help to create a seamless design. That's all I got though.

Now I see what everyone is complaining about. The the buildings uptop do look pretty bad

What are you talking about not offering a solution? They could have easily designed all the restrooms & concession stands to be the same size and symetrical or even better, connect them all and make them one structure instead of having random boxes on top of an otherwise great upper deck. Its not that hard. This stuff has been discussed over and over.
At first? I still claim this because it is fact. Talk to people actually in the know and not just the tigersroppings geniuses some time. The designers stuck them up top after the fact in a rush and lsu was ok with it.

The buildings have been in every rendering/sketch from the very beginning. There was no place to put them. As far as a solid structure goes. Maybe that would work but I know they need room up there for all the people in that top deck plus the SRO part. I'm sure there's some kind of code they have to follow for all of that. I can't believe you actually think the design was ever turned in without this stuff.
Everyone has an inside source these days.

Don't quote me here, but I'm almost positive that there will be some cosmetic touches added there.

It wasnt turned in without the bathrooms and concession stands. The designers caught the mistake shortly before it was to be submitted.

I don't think they were forgotten either. There's more to the blue print concerning the restrooms than just the actual restrooms.
The plumbing for them actually ties into the rest of the plumbing system, which runs through the entire infrastructure.
It's not like they forgot the restrooms, and then said "oh let's just stick some boxes up top" and now all is well.
