The dude got paid over $4million.
The days of getting a pass for getting called out on performance “because they are a kid suiting up for LSU” are gone. They are paid professionals now.
Objectively his performance was on the level of Max Johnson. That was when he was healthy.
This year maybe he was hurt maybe he wasn’t. to this day no one will say exactly what the injury was and he limped after every hit even in 2024. It’s just weird how people are so invested that he got absolutely every benefit of the doubt on absolutely everything.
After the OU game I thought he would take a jump in the second year too I guess some people had trouble letting go

Stats show Nuss liked led the league (if not all CFB) in '24 when under pressure.
I'm not sure what stat that is, but if it's the one that looks at sacks per pressures, it's basically meaningless when you lead the league in interceptions. An interception is worse than a sack. I thought Nuss looked his best in the last three games of the season when he took care of the ball better, but otherwise he was a big mixed bag and his stats show that.

No. It was completion % under pressure.
