Instead of selling your tickets because you have given up on the season, I urge, nay, challenge all of you to go to the game and cheer louder than you ever have before. Support our seniors and all of those that will be stepping up next year to fill their place when they are gone. This game will be on ESPN meaning many people throughout the country will be watching this game. I say we all make our presence known to the country that bad coaching will not deter us from watching our Tigers win. Let's make Arkansas wish they never came to Tiger Stadium. Let's be loud, and strong. Go to the game and see the Tigers play in Tiger Stadium one last time. There is no championship for us. There is no game this week. As far as we are all concerned, there is no Sunday. Only Saturday. This is our championship and we all need to be there to help our Tigers to victory once again.
Nice work. We accomplish more when we all pull together.

I wasn't speaking to a jr. high football team.
I can match you with degrees and one up you, but that is not the issue.
Oh, I must have read this wrong.

The point is that we both have arguments to keep people supporting out Tigers. tiger20 had good things to say to the fans. He put somethings better than me. Its not a competition. It's solely for us to still be saying every day and every night, GEAUX TIGERS! And no matter what you feel about play calling, execution, record, time management, etc., the fact is, we all want that Golden Boot to come back to LSU and stay here forever.

I'm just messing with tiger20 and he knows it.

I will still go to games to support the players. But at $3.8 million/year the coach (and you so called positigers) needs to understand, with that insane amount of money, he needs to put a quality product on the field, or the pressure will come. What we have seen on the field this season is not quality, and it has been his own doing. Throw out the debacle vs Ole Miss, did we see any consistency on the field vs Washington, Miss State (which was a debacle we managed to win), a mediocre UGA team, or LA Tech? With the possible exception of UGA, which of these teams has the same talent level as our program? Has our team shown significant improvement since the UW game?
I wish Alleva would go ahead and do what he will be forced to do in the future, and that is go ahead and pull the plug on Miles. Until that time, geaux tigers!
Sorry coach, I like you as a person and think you are a really really classy good guy, but at $3.8 mill, I don’t want any apologies, a la your presser yesterday. I want to see a team that learns from its mistakes and matures along the way.

Just curious, say lsu whips arky bad and the coaches and players execute a great game plan, how many will still spout "yeah but Saban would have.........". Some/many will NEVER be satisfied. Our fanbase is full of the type, IMHO. Sadly

THANKS. Sorry if I was a little thin skinned. I know we both want successful Tiger teams and we need all of the united support we can muster right now to help get the team into a winning mindset.

Many just lay in wait for something negative to occur then gloat over it, proud to proclaim they knew it all along. Of course, they convenienly ignore all of tehe successful things tht occur.

This is still an elite program
I don't know which Tigers you are watching, but I am watching the LSU Tigers and, aside from a sideline stacked with talent, I don't see anything resembling an elite program and haven't seen it for two seasons now. The team is still as unorganized and confused as they were that first night in Washington. I blamed that on the time zones. Silly me! Our team is loaded with talent. We do not have a coaching staff that knows how to use the talent and develop a reasonable system. Hell, you ever hear one of the offensive play calls? Sounds more like instructions to land the frickin' space shuttle.
We need a coach to lead this team. Keeping Les around for another year is nothing more than postponing the inevitable which means it is one more year before we get this program headed in the right direction once again. Les is a super guy. But, there are lots of super guys in this world. We don't hire them all to coach the football team. So, we can sit back and act like the little screw up in Mississippi was just that - a little screw up. Or, we can face it for what it is - the straw that broke the camel's back. We're not paying for mediocrity as is evident in the checks I write to the TAF. It is time to either get a real coach who can put a well led team on the field every week, or it's time to cut some coaches' salaries and settle for being a middle of the pack team.

This is slowly becoming an average program, ranked in the Top Twenty coming off a season where we finished outside the top 25, on the verge of finishing in the middle or bottom of the SEC for second straight year , one or two plays away from being 6-5 or 5-6.
Fixed it for you.
I know you don't really believe losing 8 straight to Alabama, Ole Miss, Florida, and Arkansas, being 3-5 against Top 25 teams over the past two years, and 1-4 vs top 10 is Les Miles having us at elite status, right?
