I see he isn't listed as "interim" anymore, which doesn't surprise me, but when did it happen? It seems like it was done quietly, unless I missed something.

From the naked eye, I'm all for it. I thought the band sounded great last year and the halftime shows were very entertaining.

How are the numbers looking? It seems like I recall that there were fewer band members last year and the fear was that the trend of getting smaller might continue.

Happened toward the end of the spring semester. I only found out from the assistant director posting about it on his Instagram, so it was a pretty quiet announcement.

The band has stepped up its game big time. Can't ever remember better half time shows. But they need to step up their in game performance it is lacking.

I talked to Dennis about six months ago and he expects the band to be back to its full 325 members this year. Last year the floods had everything all messed up. He also said that they are looking into some kind of fund raising campaign to increase the amount of members taken. Tiger band is one of the smaller marching bands in the SEC.

Didn't the School of Music just confiscate their funding? That will be a hard sell.

"Floods" is what they want everyone to think. A lot of my buddies were scared of what the band might become in this transition period, which can be expected. It doesn't sound like we'll be 325 this year from what I'm hearing.

Last season's halftime shows were better. There was more marching and less "park and play." However, there was a huge drop off in power and sound when they were in the stands. They were drowned out by the opposing team's pep band on more than one occasion.

Finally a topic Elleshoe could come to talk about where he may actually have a clue what he's saying. And yet he's nowhere around. Baritone power!!!!!

This had to be the plan all along. Oust King on some trumped up BS and Dennis slide in there. Music school rules now.

yeah the flood excuse was definitely bs and just used to cover themselves after all the shite they pulled on Roy.

They really need to improve on the in stands playing though. It was pretty bad at times last year
