Ticket advice please.

I'm sure there are a few with some experience in this area.
Prices on ticketmaster are steep, but to be expected... Is it better to buy now or wait? Will prices come down as we get closer to the game? Will there be any scalpers on game day for this big or an event?
Also, what is the best level watching the game that a non-billionaire can get? 300 level? 500 Level even looks ok, but I've never been to the SuperDome.
Thanks.

What is your budget?
All depends where you want to sit in the dome - I've found premium seats go fast and need to get them when you can. If the upper sections are ok I think that buys you some time to watch the pricing/changes.
Personally I would not wait to game day, maybe a few days prior and just pull the trigger.

Keep in mind that all or at least most of the tickets, will be electronic (via an app). I'm not sure how that works for buying on the street, but it makes things quite a bit more complicated....

I have the same questions. I'll be flying in from SC and don't want to rely on getting a ticket from a scalper, but also don't want to shell out too much money on one of the 3rd party sites.

get the CFB Playoff app and buy from that site since it is safe and that's how the LSU tickets are going out.

If you are going to fly in front far away, do not buy from scalper. I have seen a lot of people get shammed. They sell the original ticket on stubhub and that makes the paper one dead. Then they sell the dead original ticket to some9ne on the street, which was a real ticket to someone who has no clue they cannot use it.
Pay more thru Stubhun or Ticketmaster to guarantee your ticket. Sellers on Stubhub do not get paid until a few days after the game. So if the ticket is bad, they do not get their money

There are no paper tickets to this game besides suite and some club.

Thanks for the 411 - but is the CFBPlayoff app a better route than Ticketmaster?
As far as budget, I'd like to be under $5k --- but this is more about getting the best deal. $5k now might now buy what $5k in a week can.... or visa versa.

The CFP app ticket exchange is the Ticketmaster exchange.

Tickets may come down marginally but it is unlikely to drop substantially. This is LSU NCG in NOLA. Demand is high. I bought mine midfield in upper decks over a month ago, not regretting it.

What did you pay for each ticket? Just curious. I had thought about doing that.

Ticket prices won’t go up, so I would wait until the Saturday before the game. If it does down to certain price point before that, grab them. Im

$1100 each.
ETA also booked an upgraded room near the dome a week ago. Prices for regular rooms (if you could find availability) have gone up significantly.
