USC (2008) = LSU (2007)
Dominant performances against Top 10 competition. Fearsome defenses and efficient offenses.
LSU faced a much tougher schedule in 2007 than USC will in 2008.
Just my observations.

Anyone who thinks that USC doesn't deserve the #1 spot right now is kidding themselves.
So far this season:
USC > Georgia
Oklahoma > Georgia

Was Virgina Tech not overrated last year when LSU pleayed them?
All I am saying is that at this time last year LSU looked like one of the best football teams I had ever seen. I think people are having the same reaction to USC victory over Ohio State.

We'll see how the season plays out ... a couple of key injuries can change the landscape fast.

You are right my friend.
The problem is that UGA started at #1 and in 3 weeks has dropped to #3 and has not lost a game. COME ON!!!
Your telling me that if the shoe was on the other foot with USC starting out #1 that USC would have dropped to 3 and not lose a game.

that just shows that preseason polls are irrelevant
