Just the threat of a mobile QB changes what the defense does...thus either opening up lanes for the rb or passing attack.

+1. Passing ability is paramount but I would always want a QB that is a running threat.

Make no mistake sabinite, moral victories are not being celebrated here. We just hate bama and saban. He's an a-hole and their fans are beyond obnoxious/entitled.

Fear not closet bama fan, you can beat your chest about another number 1 recruiting class next month. The funny thing is saban needs those classes to even be in the discussion. Clearly, he's not the x and o coach that he's made out to be

It's more beaten by very good QB (Watson, Barrett, Kelly) or very lucky QB (Manzell). We just need a great QB and an O line that knows how to p[arse block.

Saban isn't unbeatable, you just need innovative and effective offensive coaching

Sure, but I don't think Watson's mobility had anything to do with that win tonight.

Even the threat of mobility completely changes the way a defense plans for an opponent.

All the teams that have beaten Bama in the last five years have used the same formula: spread offense featuring a mobile, accurate QB. Not one exception, really.

Saban isn't unbeatable, you just need innovative and effective offensive coaching.

Hope LSU takes heed.

No SEC officials to help them win. Justice!

I guess when they won in '09, '11, '12, and '15 they had SEC refs helping them win their Natty's.

Some of you are just sad with these excuses. Maybe they lost because Clemson was actually the better team last night.
