Lots of RBs on roster.
None elite.
We don't know that.
When have any of those running backs had a dependable OL to run behind. Two freshmen OTs and and a light weight Center does not make a dependable OL.
This year should be different.
Hopefully the RBs will get a chance to run through a hole occasionally.

Well with six or seven on the roster the best two will be with out a doubt the best we have. Our offensive line is better deep at receiver. We won’t be one demential.

Without Emery you still have to feel good about having Williams, Cain, Goodwin, Diggs, Bradford and the 2 freshman now.
Adequate, like C+. Emery is a rare athlete.

I have to agree

I just noticed that too. Had to read it a couple of times to make sure I read it right.

It's really bizarre tbh. Between him flip flopping around never being satisfied, then just completely falling off the map last year, to now he's back on the roster. I always found this situation weird as no details ever came out on why he left the team last year and he obviously didn't transfer anywhere else. Seemed to me he just gave up football but here we are.

Yeah, a rare athlete who hasn't shown it at LSU thus far so he's not really wrong in saying you still feel good what you have because Emery isn't exactly some huge loss based on past production.
At some point you have to move on. He has been a bust up to this point.

Yeah, and if eligible and healthy will be the day 1 starter.

The RB room is stacked. With the addition of Diggs I do not see much playing time for him. Unless the injuries to JW and AG are significant and cannot play. I'm pretty sure JW is coming back and looks good. Emery and Goodwin are anyone's guess. Glad he wants to play for the Tigers. You can never have enough RB's. LSU will be more of a passing team, and JD is like another RB. Glad he is back.
