I wonder if these officials thought this may have been some form of an audition or tryout since the Big 12 may be folding and they may be looking for work in another conference soon.

I hated the holding penalty on J. Lee's big pass which was wrong
They absolutely made the right call on the completion to Beckham. They just blamed the wrong number.

loston lead with his helmet lowered but didnt make contact is that really a personal foul?

It was easy to tell that he didn't make contact in slow-mo, but you can't expect an official to really know that live

I tend to think that penalty was called because he "launched" himself and THAT was pretty clear at full speed.

the white hat had money on the Ducks. On the bad snap the players have a huge pile and he signals Ducks ball from 5 yards away. In the 4th the Duck slide 2 feet out of bounds then reaches forward and touches the ball 2 yards up the line but clearly out of bounds. White hand marks it in bounds 3 yards up the line. No way he just made a mistake. Les gets it overturned. Next play James does a Tom Brady slide for the first. Not one measurement in the game. Ducks got 1st down anywhere close

The ref standing right there and failed to see when the guy slid out of bounds on the pass completion then launched himself to the first down marker would fit right in with SEC officials.

Yep! Guy needs to run though the guy with his head up. Launching will get a penalty every time.

The call on Loston was BS, and it put 4 points on the board for the ducks.

If I was a Duck, I'd be pissed on the legwhipping deal, like someone said. I hadn't seen that called 5 times in the past 5 years, and they get two in a drive?

I didn't see the chop block/clip whatever it was, but I know that our staff tells the refs to watch that crap, because apparently, it's about the only technique that can be used to stop our defense. Seems we've had more calls go against teams playing us than most, every since Tubbs and his buncha thugs dang near ended Dorsey's career.
