re: Thought it deserved its own thread (gold jersey picture)

I'd like to see what purple helmets (pun intended) with white pants and white jerseys would look like...In my mind, it looks pretty slick. Anyone know how to do the art thing for that look?

I'm not too big of a fan of the Gold jerseys, but the white helmets kick arse.

thank you. I think most of the kids on this board forget the entire reason Dinardo brought back the white jerseys to begin with. We basically sucked in purple, and Dinardo got it changed back to white (which is THE traditional LSU uniform)....the magic was subsequently brought back, and I'm kind of suprised that with all the bs talk about how we need to keep tradition alive around here (ie. 86 the hip hop music/ let the band play more) that any one would even consider bringing back purple jerseys

I don't have a problem with the uniform itself, but I don't want to be like Florida or Georgia changing Jerseys

the white jersey's and gold pants and helmet have been around since 1956,57...we used to wear the "old gold" colored helmets with purple stripe (like the Nike "combat" w/o the LSU logo and no number(s)) and purple jerseys and old gold pants up until that time('56/57)..also the "LSU" logo on the helmets have only been around since 1974/5..we used to just put the players numbers on the sides of the helmets...

anyone care to show what all gold would look like?

I hate big game uni changes. UGA has never recovered from their black out. Just wish the Tigers would focus and make fewer dumb mistakes.

what about black jerseys? that would be awesome... could someone do that to a pic???
