Oh, and you obviously didn't read all of my posts, but classy move trying to subtly call me homosexual genius.

How pathetic is it that you have to 1) resort to that type of weak attack on top or 2) not having any idea what the discussion was about and looking at only the few quotes some people took from my posts.

P.S. where have I predicted any games or their results? I haven't even picked a winner or loser for the fricking games.

We were extremely lucky in 08 to beat Auburn on J Lee's TD pass to Chris Mitchell. If not for that, we likely end the season 6-6 going into the bowl game.

I'm sorry dude, I'm just not smart enough to not think you "didn't mean that we were lucky to beat AU in '08. As is typical of your style, you picked out one positive moment in that year and put a negative spin on it. Like most of your ilk, you conveniently forget all the bad luck things that happened in the losses and all the little bad bounces that go against a team sometimes that have great effect on the outcome. How sill is it to say that if one play goes differently we would be "6-6". If I said that with a couple of good bounces we would have been 10-2 in '08. You would laugh yourself silly but your contention is no more based in logic than mine.

My point is that you are negative and it has lead you to make many mistakes in your predictions. In this thread you have taken it upon yourself to be "the voice of reason" to those who feel positive about the outcome of the Ark game. I am here to tell you that we don't need you and we don't want you.

You feel as if you are just "being realistic". I feel as if you are just being negative because it is your nature. Very self serving of you.

No, my entire point in that discussion had nothing to do with being lucky in individual games. It was in response to another poster claiming we could blanket an entire season under the bad bounce of RP getting kicked off the team. I said that wasn't bad luck, it was bad management on the coaching end. We had no contingency plan.

I used that as an example of a bounce going our way. Was it the only play that won us the game? Of course not, and I should've worded it correctly and more clearly, but it was quite a fortunate throw in the fact he was being hit AS he released it and it was still perfect. My point was we made those plays in 08 like we did this year.

I actually think we were extremely unfortunate in the UF game that year. McCray had pretty good coverage on Harvin on 3rd and long, tips the ball and it goes right into Harvin's hands leading to a TD that changed the dynamic of the game from the first drive.

Those weren't bad coaching, but bad luck.

Last year against Auburn, Scott going down and the INT not being called one were tough/bad breaks that you can't blame the team or coaching.

Les is a very good coach, but I found it amusing when the poster claimed "It's about time we got all these good breaks, we have gotten so many bad ones in 08/09". I disagreed with that. I think in both those seasons, we saw it go both ways, but we were in tough situations.

This season, we've had lots of breaks, but we've made those breaks happen like against UF, UT, etc.

I think Les gets called lucky way too much. He's good coach that gives his team chances to make plays.

Also, this is way off. I actually predict we will beat Arkansas, but it is no given. It will be a tough hard fought game for several reasons I pointed out, namely our struggling offense.

Being realistic that its not an automatic win, doesn't mean all of us are predicting a loss. I have yet to predict an Arky loss.

Classy move? Is that really how you want to roll? You are on the high classy ground with your posts and it is I who occupies the gutter? Interesting.

I haven't gone far enough back in your posts yet to find you making negative predictions on the outcome of this season but I'm sure that you made some. I've read far too many of your critical rants of Les Miles and our other coaches to believe that you predicted a positive outlook for the season.

I have posted many times on here trying to explain to critics of Miles like you what you were missing about him. All coaches have strengths and weaknesses but all you ever wanted to talk about were the weaknesses, completely missing the positives. Of course since the Bama game you now see a little better but you will never admit that your flawed way of looking at things led you to miss his greatness. You will simply wait for the inevitable downturn in fortunes and start doing your chicken little act again. I'm smarter than you about football, but don't let it get to you, lots of people on here are. Just keep watching the games and maybe one day you will get it.

First off, I am not the one that started talking about people's sexual orientation in an attempt at insulting them, but yeah, you are on the higher moral ground.

That said, I've never felt Les is a bad coach, but I have felt he wasn't a great fit for LSU. I still feel that way, but I respect what he's done in his time here. I've never called for his firing this season, although I'll admit at times, I've thought about it (like after we first lost the UT game). When my emotions came down, I didn't think that though, which is normal.

Miles has made many bad decisions, but he's also made tons of great ones. The second half of the Alabama game showed the Les that does fit as coach of LSU. Sadly, we haven't seen that Les much since 2007, where he was like that in 12 out of 14 games.

This coaching staff is solid and honestly outside of Crowton, Studs, and Gonzales (still reserving judgment till after next season though), I love the other assistants.

I am extremely happy that my preseason prediction 8-4/9-3 seems to have been wrong. I love this team and will support them. I still think they have room to improve at all levels though, and that is where I get frustrated like many others.
