Jones and Barrow deserve the opportunity to start because they have waited their turn the past few years. I think they'll play great because of the push they've gotten from all of the incoming freshman.

But Jones has been a linebacker for 2 or 3 years while Francois and Hatcher only had one spring and fall to get acclimated.

That's not unimportant, but they wouldn't be here if they couldn't hit; reading and reacting is what will separate them. That won't show in a drill.

In the interview Chavis sounded like his linebacker group was in question and he was having to defend them. They will play great for him this year and he will develop his freshmen this year.
