No, it led to a win. Without that play there would be no extra innings and WF would have won 1-0

This hurts to say, but if Milazzo wasnt inserted into the lineup when he was I think we are at home right now. Masterful decision by Coach J.

The still shot should be of Tre' stumbling to the ground and throwing the ball.

Thats what Ive been looking for. Maybe a wide angle from the first base dugout or a shot from behind Milazzo and slightly towards 3rd, looking at Tre.

Its just as important to keep runs off the board as it is to score them. Especially in a pitching duel like this one. They count just as much.

I’m going to say more than one play won the game but that one was brilliant.

There’s a couple moments in LSU baseball history that deserve a wall mural sized high def print. That’s one.

We should build one.

Warren Morris, obviously.

Ray Wright catching Ed Muth's home run ball.

Morgan's flip to Milazzo.

Should do one outside Tiger Stadium as well.

Billy Cannon, no time left, Hodson to Fuller, Cedric Donaldson 1997, Bluegrass Miracle, Hester 2007, Demetrius Byrd, Mason scoring the game winner against the inbreeds.

Tre might be the only 1st baseman in the country that can make that play. But lost in all this is how hard that is to make that play as a catcher. The patience to wait for that ball to get to you and ability to secure it in a catchers mitt is overlooked. Soft tosses are difficult enough before you add in being anxious to turn for the blind tag too early. Could have easily been a dropped catch with a “too early” turn.

Outstanding performance all around. Lets hope they ride this momentum into tonight.

Uhhhhh……just a point… that saved ONE run Tank’s HR was
a TWO run blast. Even if WF runner avoids the tag and is safe, Tigers still
win 2-1.

Never would have got to extra innings. WF would have won 1-0 in 9.
