How did you leave out 02, 03, and 04?
02 - Losing to ULL 5-0 on Saturday then beating them 12-2, 12-2 on Sunday with Matt Heath giving them the business and Aaron Hill throwing his bat into ULL's dugout.
03 - Extra inning game on Sunday with Zeringue hitting a walk off homer in extras. UNC-Wilmington joined LSU in the victory lap. Losing to Baylor in game 1 of the supers to beat them 6-5 in game 2 with back to back homers in the 8th. Beating Baylor 20-5 in game 3.
04 - Outlasting Texas A&M in game 1 of the supers in a back and forth game 11-8. Beating A&M 4-0 in game 2 with a 4 spot in the 9th and a complete game gem tossed by Mestepey.

Great shite. They tried to bean Heath his next time up, and I believe the umps threw out ULLLL's pitcher.
And I think Robicheaux basically admitted they tried to hit Heath, saying something like "you don't disrespect us like that". That prick shoulda been thrown out too, or worse - a coach admitting they were trying to bean a player, which could seriously injure him, because you don't "disrespect" us? What were they, the frickin' Bloods?

Good ones. People are so down on the Smoke era but we did win an SEC title and go to two CWSs under his reign. Most other places would build statues for that.
