Spoke with someone in media connected to board. Saban is not interested. And LSU is done with Kiffin. Can't wait for Ole Miss and playoff run. Frankly, right now, they are very uncertain as to what to do. Hard to believe, but true.

Why was Bama able to wait for their playoff coach, but LSU isn't able to?
I want someone to explain that to me. Why can't LSU wait for their guy?
Alabama hired their coach around January 12.

And another thing, if someone wants to argue that Kiffin could leave you last second, so what? What other coaches are you missing out on that are slam dunks by waiting? I'm not seeing it. If your guy is in the playoffs this is absolutely the year to wait for him. I can't stand fans, especially Bama fans, saying LSU can't wait when they literally waited for their playoff coach.

So you are worried about the class? Seems like recruits are more willing to play for LSU without BK than whoever the coach is. I know recruits sign early now, but technically signing day is still Feb right?
