Last year was a team with deep flaws on offense masked by the best defense LSU has ever fielded and likely will ever field. LSU did what it was supposed to last year and put the boot down on inferior teams, and I'd like to see that every year, but we're back to the norm this year and I'm sure next year will the same.

Only time will tell, I guess. I hope you're wrong, and I'm sure that you do as well. Take care...

I would love to be proven wrong in this case, but I don't have a lot of hope. I'm open to being pleasantly surprised though.

LSU and Les are 23-4 over the past two years, they are an elite program and they have a elite
coach that has brought more talent to LSU football in the last 5 years than the preivous 100. Come on Les has brought LSU to highest level in LSU football history.

Well, there's a difference b/t pumpin shine and keepin perspective. there's also a diff b/t keepin perspective and having the "catastrophe syndrome". see saban's comments on this strange LSU "fan" phenomenon. guarantee this was one of the main reasons he got the hell outta here so fast. His comments say it all, look it up. Btw, in my opinion, there is nothing more feminine than the catastrophe syndrome. Its really pathetic actually.

U happen to see the recruiting class we had wrapped up months ago? an even better one coming in 2014. yep, on the decline for sure. but yeh, we need a new OC, I agree with that for sure and Low is always correct IMO as an analyst. but in regards to the bowl loss, coaching cant play the game for mett and O line. Its mostly on him, Mett, IMO. But he will rebound. Probly a blessing in disguise for the offseason, we will need to play angry with something to prove to have a chance next yr w/ the schedule we have.

Yeah...the embarrassment and coaching futility on 1/9/12 wasn't motivation enough for this past season...we needed to lay an egg vs Clemson to really light that spark.

Clemson ran 100 Offensive plays...100 against the #11 defense in the country because of the offense.... that is NOT elite!

$4.5 Mill a year should buy you something...oh...thats right...its good enough to be in the hunt for a Championship....we dont necessarily need to win them.....

I hear ya, but u got to remember, this was Mett's first year playin big boy ball, and we were unmotivated in the chicken bowl, semi-understandably. He will work all offseason angry. we laid the egg with Jeff n Jarrett (or just Jeff, actually), Mett, like most, had to learn the bitterness of defeat the hard way. Failure forges like none otha, see Michael Jordan famous quote. Dat pumpin taste good dont it? Have some, its delicious. Tigers will rebound. Follow recruiting, we have built it, Fournette will come.
