Why haven't the Spartans benefited from Saban's golden touch like LSU has?

Miles is our coach. We're stuck with him. Might as well support him instead of "ranting" him.

- Saban is a better coach than Miles - Probable
- Saban is the best coach in the country - Debateable
- Saban used to coach at LSU - True
- Saban is one reason why LSU has had the success that it has had over the last 9 years - True
- Saban ain't coming back - Probable
- We should be content that we had him while we did - Glad he was here? Yes. Content? No.
- LSU still has the capability of being a national power year in and out simply by geography and in-state competition,or lack thereof. - Probable

Right, but you'd think Saban would have changed all of that there, except for geography of course. His powers aren't that great yet. After all, LSU only has a football program now because of him. He is that powerful, but not a land mover yet.

Saban is winning with Shula's recruits. How is that different from Miles winning with Saban's recruits? Miles went 9-3 this year with his recruits and a 19 year old QB. Let's see what happens next year to start making these assumptions.
