This is so surreal... Soak it in Tigers

The LSU Tigers that everyone on this rant loves more than anything will be playing for a spot in the National Championship game that will be held in New Orleans.
The LSU Tigers got here with a prolific offense that has led a defense rather than the other way around.
The LSU Tigers are being led by a born and bred Louisiana man in Coach O, who many said would never amount to anything as a head coach anywhere, especially a blue blood like LSU.
I just wanna say soak it in because at 19 this will be the first playoff experience I will remember in my lifelong fandom of the LSU Tigers.

1/9 has scarred everyone associated with this program and this fanbase. But this team is by the far the best team we’ve had since 2011.
If we can take care of business today we have the chance to excise all those demons this program has been carrying since the last Superdome visit 8 years ago.

You sold colas in the 50s and you’re 70. Math doesn’t add up. I guess they let kids under 10 sell things????

Back then they did, metal buckets with ice, people really just bought the 7ups for mixed drinks for the burbon they carried in and then the Ice cups to mix the drinks - pepsi not so much
Of course it did not hurt that my Uncle's best friend had the franchise for selling those drinks in Tiger Stadium

Bama fan here. This is the best LSU team I've ever seen....period. 2011 was an outstanding squad that could beat you on defense, and in the kicking game. This team can beat you in all three phases, and when Joe Burrow needs a play, Joe Burrow makes a play.

No matter what happens today, the odds of any of us ever experiencing a season like this again are extremely slim. I regret not enjoying it more.
