Seriously? That statement couldn't be more wrong. Parity is spreading thru college football, and it's happening fast.

You don't really watch much football do you?

2000-present is the golden age:

86-22 record

1990-1999 were the dark ages:

54-59-1

Scholarship limits. Use Nebraska as an example, who used to fill up the line with 5th yr seniors, who had been "corn fed" and in the weight room. They could be consistent because they were not held back by numbers, and recruits wanted to be with a winner, so they loaded up. So the draw of the "usual suspects" was being winners who are on tv a lot. Those schools at the top tended to stay there. Now you have to be a good judge of talent, and don't have the luxury of taking a chance on potential alone.

In keeping with the thread, the good fortune that we have been experiencing, is due to Saban, and Miles. As long as we have Les Miles as our coach, WE WILL BE GOLD, with the end no where in sight.

LSU is GOLD
Opponents are PURPLE (from clean hits)
