You remind me of those guys that were bitching about field goal kickers a few years ago. Then they brought them up and couldn’t kick the ball 10 yards. Just stfu, you would definitely not tell the guys to his face. Why come on the rant and act tough?

Embarrassing for LSU baseball that this is the best option.

It’s embarrassing for you that this is the first game you’ve watched all year and thought you should comment on it.

For real.

You mean the guy with the second lowest ERA on the team isn’t a D1 pitcher?

Not anymore… he also only has 24.1 IP and he has allowed 6 ER 13 hits and 10 walks in his last 6.2 innings. He missed 5+ ft up on 2 consecutive pitches. Y’all can defend him all you want. But I haven’t seen a lot of HS pitchers miss that bad.

Except I saw him pitch at Vanderbilt last week, in person, where he allowed 2 and walked 4.. so there’s that

He moved from 2nd lowest to 3rd lowest on the team. Still doesn’t add up to your assertion that he isn’t a D1 pitcher.

he also had only 24IP prior to now.

Yeah, most of his appearances came after conference play started.

If you’ve never seen baseball before then I’ll let you in on a secret. Sometimes good pitchers show up that day and don’t have it. It happens to pro ball players as well.

Nobody has to defend him. His play and statistics this year defend themselves without anyone else’s help.

Or in little league either. We know.

Hasty had a terrible outing no doubt, but it is an amateurish take to say he isn’t a D1 pitcher. He’s had some solid outings. While his stuff has awesome spin and movement, his control is lacking which UK exposed. And yes his motion to the plate is too slow with runners on base.

I’ll just count on JJ beefing up the pitching, this year. Pitching has been an issue for years.

False

The dominant weekend guys, yes

Our pitching staff hasn't been the main issues

From the guy after a kid for one bad game.....

What years did you pitch at LSU????
What's your status line???
Why aren't you the head coach, because you are obviously a better judge of talent that CJJ?

I just looked at the list of commitments. A lot of pitchers on the list. Seems we need more solid pitching all the time. Are there any on the list that will not go pro that are solid. I was so frustrated yesterday but I’m not the one on that mound. Another thing was every game was very late at night till very early in the morning. That didn’t help.
