Decide for yourself.
Averages for the final 3 reg season games:
LSU-Opponents
PTS: 45-9.7
TotYds: 475-242
RYDS: 310-100.5
PYDS: 165.3
Bama-Opp
PTS: 37-14
TotYDS: 415-120.7
RYDS: 246-120.7
PYDS: 182.3-73.3
I omitted the UGA game because Bama didn't play a fourth game. To see how well each team has played in the same amount of time, I averaged the stats/scores for their final 3 regular season opponents. It seems clear, at least to me, that LSU has gotten better, or, at the very least, stayed constant, where Bama has slipped some.
I know this doesn't mean shite, but I just thought it was interesting.

It will be about Quarterback play, and that is the only thing that has me worried. Other than that position LSU is the better team.

Depends on which Jefferson shows up. Bowl game or SEC championship JJ.

We played better opposition, too. Pretty much all of the SEC-W games are a wash, Bama did a little better against Miss State (after our game) as we did a little better against Ole Miss. The Arky and Auburn games likely wash-out as well, nearly identical performances.
The real difference, and it happened since November 5th was our game against WKU versus their game against Ga Southern. While it's short-sighted to take too much away from a single game performance against a team with a gimmicky offense, it's still a factor - we were even on November 5th, we're nearly even when you compare every conference game - we were more dominant against a stronger OOC schedule, and have played better since our game.
Our "players available" situation is probably as good as it has been any time this season. While their are rumors that Bama has a few nagging injuries, regardless, an end of season game like this should favor the deeper team, all other things being equal (and, even if not a partisan LSU crowd, it is no worse than a neutral crowd, leaning LSU, and not an away game like November 5th). The deeper team is unquestionably LSU.

Just curious and I dont have the answer, but how do you too compare to common opponents this year?

Given that practices are closed... it would be difficult to answer that question.

Pretty much exactly the same. A few yards separate us on passing and rushing O and D.

bama never really changed the recipe this year. its just that when they played us, their shite didnt work. right as rain the next week though.
as far as lsu. we've become less of a pass threat and more of a diverse run threat with jefferson at the helm and our 3rd and 4th string backs getting good production. i think we have enough to give bama a completely new look.
