He was cruising until that ump did a bunch of unnecessary things.
But it’s par for the course with you. Downplay the kid’s accomplishment and tear him down. You do the same stuff with football.

I mean… there are guys who can go 5 inning routinely.
I don’t hate Floyd but he can stink it up.
We have a fricking monster offense and that’s why we win a ton of games but we have 1 starter on the whole team.

I don’t recall but if you want to chalk that up to it being a “gotcha” moment, so be it.
He has been better recently. That was my point. The ump doing a bunch of nonsense in the fourth took away the momentum Floyd had.

Again, I specifically pointed out that I don’t do that. In this game, the ump absolutely played a factor with all this unnecessary nonsense.

That ump did a bunch of unnecessary things that took Floyd out of his groove.
You can say he needs to be more “mentally tougher” and that may be true but he was dealing until that ump did all that other garbage.

Now that my emotions have settled he’s probably right. We should probably just cancel our baseball program. We don’t have a #2 we couldn’t even sweep 3 straight SEC series
