They dont underdtand what per capita means and fail to realize even with a talented state it doesnt produce QB's anymore.
Just because LSU cant develop a QB doesn't mean no QBs come out of Louisiana. Dak Prescott had an ok college career.

I was actually trying to be positive. 2012 and 2013 were down years for recruiting, and we needed to change direction. With better recruiting for the past 3 years plus the recent staff changes, the program is in a very good place right now.

Yeah he was so sought after by so many teams. Can't believe Lsu would miss on the guy.
Oh wait every team but miss st. did.
What a retarded example to try to shite on your supposed favorite team.

SU and Ohio State since they each have a 3 year run currently... forget the fact LSU has been doing it for 10+ years until the wheels fell off last year.
7-0 and #2 in the country. Wouldn't call last year the wheels falling off

Going on a three loss skid after starting 7-0 is pretty much the definition of "the wheels falling off." As in "things were going well and then the wheels fell off."
The weak starting schedule most years artificially inflates our rankings and then we come back down to earth when we get into the meat of our backloaded schedule.

More like getting their shite pushed in.
Having said that, I think that, and the public reaction, made Les wake up. Finished with another strong recruiting class, and great coaching hires.
That 7-0 start last year was misleading. They weren't good last year; they struggled against shite teams. The defense was terrible (and so was Steele).

Recruiting rankings try to rank recruits based off future potential.
of course and everyone knows that it's not an exact science. but my point about consistency isn't about overall rankings; it's about meeting the needs of an team ongoing. you need to fill two deep on the DL and each year minimize your inexperience at LB and OL and QB. it is imperative, imo, to recruit well at these 3 positions every year if you want to reload (QB maybe everother year). we end up with high rankings but it seems a lot of those are based on WR, DB and RB. we still get great players at the other positions just not consistently (to be able to reload after the best juniors leave early).

Until Prescott the last QB from here to be drafted was John David Booty in the 5th round in 2008. He was out of the league in 3 years.

Hey Gramps, since you started writing on stone tablets, we have invented something called a capital letter to begin a sentence with.
