How in the WORLD would you know that with any certainty? Everyone though Arden Key was a stone cold lock as a top 10 pick. First round pick at minimum. He went in the 3rd round if I remember correctly. Anything can happen.

I already answered this in this thread. That's exactly my point. There's no way to know anything without in depth in game experience. Y'all are acting like I'm saying Fulton wont be good. I'm saying we dont know. I just think calling Fulton a star without him even playing a down in a long time is a stretch. I would love it if he indeed was a star.

LSU has depth all along the front 7.

While not long on experience there is at least depth.

I get what you’re saying, but this isn’t a guy coming off injury or who’s been away from the team. He knows the defense, he’s in good shape.

Yeah it’s probably some hyperbole , but bear in mind that 3 months ago most of us thought he would see the field til August 2019. Now there is at least a non-zero chance he is on the field in Dallas in 5 weeks. Some emotion is to be expected.

Just for shits and giggles, who else has a better secondary in the country?

Last year , LSU posted the 9th best opp QB rating. So an already stout pass D gets back the 2016 crootin class top rated DB.

Call it a hunch but I don’t see the pass D getting worse.

Oh

I've been arguing with too many people to keep up. But Delpit is about to start his sophomore year. Did Arden Key have any off the field issues going into his true sophomore year? Maybe he did but I don't remember them personally. Anything can happen man. Anything.

Before last season we were expected to have like 5 first round picks. What did we end up having?

Zero. Saying a kid will be a first round pick after one solid true freshman season is absolutely ridiculous man. Just insane.

That's all I'm getting at. The hyperbole on this site has always been crazy to me.

Well for one, he was part of the same recruiting class as Greedy and yet still played significant snaps while the All-American redshirted.

Hey, I hope you and your family are well. Don’t lose your cool, it’s easy to see why people are skeptic, he hasn’t been on the field in almost 2 years.

Significant snaps is a stretch man

But I get what you're saying. But the whole "Fultons coming back, we now have the best secondary in the country" is hyperbole at its finest.
