He has been praised by the coaches and players alike bc of his performance in the team practices and scrimmages. Fulton is a baller man. Idk why you're acting like he's some scrub or something. He can flat out play. All he has to do is translate his play at practice and scrimmages onto the gamefield. It's not far fetched to believe he will do just that. With fulton, our defense would be set. We are going to be really good defensively. Can't fricking wait. Geaux Tigers!

Dude, where did I say that? Hes done NOTHING on the field! Practice and scrimmages are nice and all, but what counts is putting it together on the field. He was a 5 star recruit out of high school so he obviously has serious talent. But people acting like hes going to step in after not playing for almost 2 years and set the world on fire GUARANTEED is silly in my opinion.
Our fans just get a little ahead of themselves every single offseason. Saying we have one of the best secondaries in the country based on one good corner, a safety coming off injury with one year under his belt, and a another corner that's barely logged a stat in a game is crazy to me.

I've always been a Battle fan as well. I remember when my friends acted like he sucked when he went for the interception and ran into Jamal Adam's (I think) and made Adam's drop it. I was like what the hell is he supposed to do lol. He sees the ball in the air so hes gonna try to catch it.
Having Battle on the roster is going to help our younger guys SO much. Stevens and Kelvin Jospeh can learn from him and not have to carry the load instantly.

Did you see anyone on here saying Greedy is gonna kill it last season? Nope. Exactly my point. There's no way to say one way or the other. Fulton could be an all american, he could be terrible. No way to know. Saying we'll have one of the best secondaries in the country because Fulton is coming back is silly.
Edit: there might have been a few people saying Greedy was gonna be awesome, but they were just guessing. Kinda like what's going on now with Fulton. There's just no way to definitively say Fulton will be a star until we see what he can do on the field.

Man, the bottom line is this...I feel much better about our defense with fulton lining up for us at cb than I would otherwise. Fulton will add a top notch player at the 1 position on defense where depth is an issue. Not only does him being eligible add depth, it solidifies the cb position with him opposite greedy. Fulton is going to start if/when he is ruled eligible for this season, you can book that shite. He's wowed our coaches, who have seen a shitload of talent in the db positions over the years at LSU...so I take their word for it regarding fulton's talent. Lol.

Nah I get what hes saying. It can go either way is what my point is. A guy that no one is talking about can become an all American. A guy that everyone's talking about can be a bust. The point is, nobody knows without that player playing games. Practice and scrimmages dont really mean anything.
Kinda like our scrimmage stats showing our starting quarterback throwing for 300 yards and 4 touchdowns every offseason and then we really see how they are once the season starts and reality sets in.
Fulton coming back is great, I just dont think anyone has a clue if he will be great or terrible. Especially someone who hasn't played in as long as he has.
By the way, is Fulton being reinstated a for sure thing? People on here are talking like it is but I haven't seen anything that confirms it.
