Les Miles has one bad year out of 4 and all of you aren't sold on him, while Nick Saban had one very good year mixed in with a few BAD ones and we wanted to give him the key to the f*ckin city! WTF is wrong with you people!?!?! Shyt lets just stop worrying about shyt we have no control over and let this year take its course. I mean my god most teams would have fared far worse than us given our position at QB and DC last year, people just forget the fact that we won the god damned BCS and SEC just under 2 years ago and are 4-0 in bowl games the past 4 years and 8 months with our coach, most of them blowouts! Get a grip rantards........... and![]()

Either way, i'm f*cking excited about this seasonNo matter what anyone says about how us fans "should" feel about it, all college football fans are, for all but 1 team, hopeless optimists
We went 9-4 in 2009
Looking back now, I was a dumbass. 100%. I know how you guys feel because I've been there. But at this point in time I cannot excuse 12 years and not one QB signed by Les out of High school amounted to anything. Not one. Countless games that showed me how undisciplined Les Miles coached teams are.
Our losses per year since 2008 go
2008- 5 losses
2009- 4 losses
2010- 2 losses
2011- 1 very big loss
2012- 3 losses
2013- 3 losses
2014- 5 losses
2015- 3 losses
His bowl record the last 7 years is 3-4. That's horrible. The last three years we have gone 9-9 against the SEC West. I want to be optimistic just like everyone. But I'm not going to blame anyone who has sat here and felt disgusted with all of this talent going to waste, all of the bonehead clock management issues. If we do good this year then great, awesome. But don't piss on our legs and tell us its raining.

Agreed, but it IS the Internet after all. Have you read the comments section of... every site on the Internet?

It's pathetic so called fans hoping Lsu fails because they think aleva is gonna hire the next Saban. Miles loses his first opener ever and all hell breaks loose. Ya we've been on a down slide the last 3 years but even miles down years is better than most of the sec. I think he was a qb away from having a team that can contend again and that's why he pulled Harris so fast. If etling gets it done and we turn it around miles will stay and lock in another great class including the best qb recruit since Periloux. I don't think miles is done. I've wandered at times but I'm gonna at least get behind him and the team this year. He's earned that. If we crash and burn this year then it's probably time. I bet that doesn't happen though.

What's pathetic is the bullshite that Less trotted out for Wisconsin.

Can I love this team and criticize this coach and hope he resigns or do I have to continue to drink the koolaid????
Ugh. I, too, grow weary of this false paradigm in which you're either pumping bullshite sunshine or hating on everything. You can do whatever the eff you want but this dude started a thread to plead wih people to be civilband no moaning and groaning all of the time.
Most people are mature enough to want miles gome but still enjoy the games that we're stick with him. All of this bs about how you feel like people are trying to silence your cries to get rid of Miles are just asinine. Its just as far for people to tell you to stop crying

You have to admit that most fans are upset with the team's performance.
Do you have any suggestions on how to improve the situation?

This is what we were promised in the Spring. You know what we received.
LSU's Brandon Harris: 'I have the best arm ... best team in college football'

Brandon Harris has never lacked for confidence throughout his career
Harris has a very high opinion of his abilities
"When you've had a year under your belt, you can watch film and you obviously know the offense well and understand things you need to do as a starting quarterback and what the expectations are," Harris said. "

Q&A with LSU OC Cam Cameron: 'There will be a noticeable change'
quote:

Cameron says fans can expect significant, and noticeable, improvement in the Tigers' offense for a team with 18 starters returning.
I'm pleased with the direction we're headed.
If we're not executing things in practice, we're not going to experiment there in the game.
The people at practice yesterday (high school coaches) thought there was a noticeable change.
Danny Etling: 'Every snap you take is an audition'
Cam Cameron: "I know this business, Les knows this business."
P.S. "The people at practice yesterday (high school coaches) thought there was a noticeable change."
LSU is getting feedback from high school coaches?
Maybe Les and Cam should be coaching at the high school level!
That is the results they gave us in the Wisconsin game.

The guy they wanted got his arse beat by over 40 points to Louisville. Think about that. He lost by 6 touchdowns. And they say our losses are embarrassing.

Find happiness in your own daily life and you won't project your own discontent onto the team.

The difference is we finally have a quarterback, and we've got three (maybe four) lined up behind him and committed that will bring an end to our quarterback-related suffering.
Our team is starting to come together, hasn't lost yet in SEC play (small sample size, granted), and could legitimately contend for the SEC if they continue to improve.
If we win the SEC, would it really he wise to risk losing Brennan, Narcisse and Moses by firing the coach and replacing him with someone who may not even be as good as Les has consistently been.
8-5 ain't great. 9-4 is slightly above-average. But when those are your WORST seasons in over a decade which includes multiple SEC titles and two NC appearances with one win, the assumption that Les' eventual successor will turn out to be an upgrade is not grounded in either history or reality.

Those people are dysfunctional.
Well, I in fact know that a VERY influential group have sent an email to one F King Alexander citing "embarrassment" of rhe once proud program. The person was an ex LSU team captain FWIW.
