What should I expect tailgating wise?

Not as big as football, but you'll for sure get crawfish.

Tailgating on Saturday, a good crowd, and some drinking.

It really is fun though. Especially the Friday night game where you tailgate in the afternoon, then after the game just walk a block to Walk-On's.

If weather is good that will kind of determine crowd and atmosphere, but in late April it should be record crowds
Not sure when spring football game will be, probably earlier than that
That will be a big series no doubt

Walk-On's a bar I'm assuming?

Walk-on's is a bar and grill, pretty much right across from Alex-Box. From what I remember I've had good times there

I imagine that stadium will be packed for the SC Series. Two best programs in the SEC.

Baseball tailgating in Baton Rouge is something special for sure.

It won ESPN's Sports Bar of the Year competition (to the chagrin of many)

Was just checking the schedules for both squads. Y'all follow us with Florida and we follow y'all with Vandy. Those two weekends could decide who wins the conference.

When we played UCLA in a Super Regional (I believe in the late 90's or early 2000s), the UCLA team and coaches were invited to tailgate with fans outside the old Alex Box.
They were blown away by the hospitality (and on the scoreboard also :)

Our fans are blown away with our fans hospitality.

Has Stony Brook finished their victory lap yet?

I loved going to baseball games. One of the few things I regret not doing enough at LSU.

Actually, UCLA missed the team's flite out because the coaches couldn't get the players to leave. Miss the Box for the closeness of the tailgating but the new Box is a slam dunk better stadium for watching/playing baseball. You can expect all you can eat/drink both Fri & Sat, Sunday's are usually low keyed, but only in comparision. Last yr, Oregon St. fans actually called the team back at the hotel post Sat nite's game & told them to get their butts back out to the stadiium>>>however, the Beavers' NCAA compliance official wouldn't allow it.

Was there '79-'82. Games were free and the only big crowd ever was when they brought in the San Diego Chicken! Still should have gone to more games.
