The glove came off the runner while he was on base still . When runner slide off bag the tag wasn’t on him at that point .

The same way every other safe baserunner has ever been safe in any game: the umps said so.
I swear, it's like people still can't grasp how absolute the officials' control over the outcome of every single play is.
ETA: I'm not able to watch the game, and I thought I'd read that the call was overturned on replay. Now it looks like people are saying it wasn't overturned, so I'm not sure which way it went. But it doesn't really change the point. The bottom line is: if he was out, he was out because the umps said he was out; if he was safe, it was because the umps said he was safe.

He was out dude. I really don’t care about the ump. He made the right call. Even without replay.
