Gee, folks with unbridled optimism are saying such things. This surprises you?
I had a f'ing Notre Dame fan approach me yesterday and tell me they would smoke us. Really?
It's a long season. Anything can happen. The football is shaped funny and can bounce awkwardly. If we get some good bounces we have as good a shot as anyone.

Biggest mine of the season is the very last game. I just said it in another thread. We need to NOT look at Ark as just a pushover win and we need to bring our A game (talking about fans) and make that stadium loud. The series got a little boring over the 2000's with us beating the shite out of them and them beating us a few times, but man...that loss to them hurt like hell last year. And I have a sneaking suspicion that it's gonna be tight as hell between LSU and Bama this year where we cannot afford to lose the Ark game due to a sterile and snap on generic Tiger Stadium atmosphere.
