I have never seen so much whinning and feeling so sorry for each other than I have the past few weeks.

These whinners only want to blame...Blame Coaches, Players, Gumps, etc....

We got beat by a great football team, nothing more, nothing less.

I am proud of our season and our new recruiting class and we will be winners again next season.

We have so much depth on our roster that if a kid wants to play for Bama, let him go and move on.

There are players on our current team that will be stars. Be grateful that you have WR's like Boone who was going to go to Texas Tech where you have to get seperation and catch the ball.

Just think what OB will do with a Quarterback that can hit him in stride and not make him jump 4 feet into the air just to catch the ball.

We have the best group of running backs in the country and that will only get better with Hill.

I still have very high hopes for Loston and we know that we have a great player in Reid.

So get over the whinning and suck it up, you making us loyal fans sick...We are ready for the spring and in the Fall we will be busting heads.

bop baby, that very same awesome QB was sitting on the bench all season, and could have been making it rain for our receivers... But sadly, it wasn't his turn.

Assuming such a QB does exist on our roster, what on Earth makes you think our coaches will let him play, let alone throw the ball?

Re: bopper50 - We're so blessed to have you here to guide us with your sensible outlook on life. As such, I vote that rename the Tiger Rant to the Tiger Genteel Gathering of Rational Thought.

Personally I'm tired of the bitching about the bitching too. Fortunately I'm not yet tired of bitching about the bitching about the bitching!

I am with you, and I have to admit that I went through about three days of DT's and withdrawals after Bama. At the moment I am in a whining 12-step program, and it has helped. One of the best steps I took was to stay off this board, AND THE RECRUITING BOARD, as much as possible. What bothered me most wasn't the loss, but the fact that we lost without looking like we were trying. If it stung me as much as it did, I can only imagine what the team felt. I can also imagine, a testosterone-laced nineteen year old being what he is, that the team will be twice as fired up for the Bama game as Bama was for us in the NC game. I CAN'T WAIT.

I do like to read the posts, and this one seems remarkably insightful. How it got on here is a complete mystery to me when one considers the maniacs who are on here, especially me. We do have a good team coming up, and it will be re-loaded with players who will fill a need. And if a kid wants to go to Alabama, the University of Mars, or Saturn State, I wish them well regretfully. C'est la vie! I do expect some "down" moments due to the loss, but they will be short-lived.

Some of you on here have no idea what bad football is all about. As I am 64, I sat through the Archer, Hallman, and the Dinardo years. The only good thing was that it was easier to park since no one went to the games. We sucked, suckable sucked beyond belief. In this season, I thought I died and went to heaven watching the Tigers play. Unless I am wrong and know nothing about people, I see this team as not being able to wait to redeem themselves. Am I expecting an undefeated season? I don't know, but I would bet that from Les on down to the lowliest LSU employee, the focus will be there since we were so badly embarrassed.

A bad thing about a post like this is that after about four of five responses, somebody who believe the glass is always half-empty finds a keyboard for courage and finds some fault with Miles, a player, recruiting, or the morning sunrise. I am tired of thinking like that. I want us to crush teams next year, and I NEVER feel like that. If I were a hot shot recruit, I'd joining this team.
