No, it happens to be that the team they lost to they have already played. This was the same for a 1-loss Oregon before they lost to USC. It also happens to be that OSU has beaten 7 teams with a winning record, while Bama has beaten 3.

Not saying I want to be independent. Obviously no Bama fan wants to leave the SEC. Just proving a point, that the biggest argument against us we didn't win the SECW or SEC. But we're still one of the top 2 teams. The best two teams in the entire nation are in the same division of the same conference. One has to lose that division. And you want to punish one of the top 2 teams in the country simply because of conference alignment.
