With a win, they win the big 12. Plus they have played a tougher schedule this season than Bama.
Bama had a much easier schedule this year with their big wins being over Arkansas and Penn State.

Not the way I wanted the season to go. If it happens (and we manage to win) I'll be pretty excited. BUT... I'll never brag on this one. Winning the BCS without winning the SEC is like kissing your sister.

Truth. It would be cheapened for bama, kind of like the way lsu 2007 is often looked down on. Yeah, we still got the crystal football but I would've enjoyed it more had we not lost two games.

Ok
What if something insane happened, let's say LSU had had an epic meltdown after beating Bama (suspensions, whatever) and lost 2 games. They're out of the title hunt. Clearly, Bama goes to BCSNCG as the best 1-loss team. Who knows who'd they play?
As is stands here in reality, Bama is still the best 1-loss team, but apparently you all think they shouldn't go just because of who they'll be playing.
Does Bama deserve a shot on their own merit? Forget who they're playing, are they the best 1-loss team?

Always has been, always will be people trying to discredit accomplishments. Bama was undefeated in 09, yet how many times do people say they cheated,was lucky because of McCoy,or BSU was also undefeated. It is human nature.
The BCS system is a very clear and defined system, if my teams wins the trophy I will never feel the need for justifying the accomplishment.

The voters won't. You may want them to, but they won't.
I've already voiced my opinion about Alabama yet you seem to feel you are deserved this.
Even though you didn't win the west.
Even though you didn't win the SEC.
Even though you've already been beaten, at home, by the #1 team in the country.
Bama doesn't deserve shite. As far as being in the BCS CG is concerned.

We feel we are one of the top 2 teams in the country, plain and simple. It sucks we won't win the SEC, but that doesn't change the fact that we are who we are. If we were an independent this year with the same exact schedule and results, we'd be in. But you want to punish us for being in the SEC

I have to laugh with this "if we were independent" so you're sayingn you're better than every other college team? Maybe you can get your own network affiliate to pick you up like Notre Dame did.

Exactly. The Big 12, not the SEC. You can't punish us for not winning the SECW and reward a team that doesn't play in the SECW. It seems your only reason OSU gets in over Bama is because, even though Bama's one of the top 2 teams in the country, it happens to be in the SEC.
