All you have to do is breakdown how coach Saban schemed this game. It was obvious he knew Bama could not win this game with intimidation and/or imposing their will on the Tigers. A staple of how Bama has had the edge before the game even starts. Any realistic LSU fan understands exactly what I'm talking about.

My three takes.

1. Saban game planned to go for it on 4th down the entire game if it was possible. It was obvious to me, he did not want to fall behind 2 scores. The look on Saban's face going into the half was a look of disbelief. A look we saw in January against Clemson.
2. Saban also knew he would have to use a trick play or 2 to stay in the game. The quick snap while we were checking off our defense was a brilliant call. But, it was a must to make that play in order to keep Bama in the game.
3. The most obvious sign is how Bama's defense did not have a solution to stop our offense. When Bama needed one crucial 3rd down stop at any point in the game, their only success was our first possession of the 3rd qtr. I have WAY TOO MANY memories where we needed that one play on offense/defense against Bama that could have potentially changed the game. Yet, we never could make that one play on either side of the ball.. Bama always made those plays against us.

I never expected to see a Nick Saban coached Bama team appear to show signs of desperation in an SEC home game match up. I truly believe, this is a sign of things to come for Bama.

Nick Saban said after the game that the LSU offense has no weakness.

They lose a lot off of the team - most of their offense. Next year they could lose 2-3 regular season games.

LSU's offense can get down the field quickly whenever it wants to. And it was obvious when they weren't trying to.
