After reading some comments, holy crap does this board need to see this lmao. The QB isn’t supposed to run. You could have 40 year old Peyton Manning back there and run these

The run/pass option isn’t necessarily a run or pass for the QB. It’s the form of a play-action in the shotgun spread formation, hand-off run to the RB, or pass for the QB(.....with an option to tuck it and run himself).

What people don’t seem to get is that the RPO is a run play with the RB and in some cases the QB first with an option to pass out of it if the defense does a specific action after the snap. If the defense does anything different than that specific action it is a run play.

Yep. Notice Pederson's comment halfway through-- you gotta commit. He was talking about the QB's decision to the run or pass. That was the biggest thing hindering our offense last game, and it is fixable.
