The real reason we won

Is that our defense intercepted 4 passes including a pick six and we ran the ball great.

By adjust, presume you mean shedding the badazz blocks the Tigers were making, Mashburn leading the way.

It is not always moving Xs and Os. Often times, it is winning/losing the assignment. LSU kept on winning the run blocking.

The pulling guards allowed for some leverage on the blocks, as well.

Well done, LSU!

Not Grantham's best game, but I think we just surprised them with effort, particularly run blocking. It happens.

Actually sticking to the run and not completely abandoning it after the 1st couple didn’t pop helped.

I still think the kids got together and found motivation within themselves when the coaching staff clearly couldn't bring it out of them. I haven't seen the effort out of this team all season that I saw yesterday.

You are on to something! The players decided to start calling the plays and ignored any input from the coaches throughout the game! The coaches just stood around, doing nothing! Nothing that happened yesterday should be credited to the coaches. Idiot.
