The real issue with LSU this season

Imagine you lose Bryce Underwood, go to Gordon and say hey man we need you to cut a deal with Nuss to get him back here.
Then, imagine Nuss doesnt work hard over the summer and a guy you bought with the collective (MVB), out performs him.
You gonna go tell Gordon thanks for the money but you screwed up? What happens next year when you need another check from him, but you got it wrong this time?
This is what we are seeing playout with at least 2 or 3 players on LSUs roster.
Im not defending it, but something has to change systemically. BK can't evaluate talent to begin with and that was my concern. He is used to mid tier 4* and upper tier 3* from recruiting Notre Dame. Good enough for him is not good enough for the SEC and even when his analysts help him recruit the right players, he doesnt play them. See Berry
