the qb situation is fine. the numbers looked bad but he wasn't put in a position to throw for 300 yards with the gameplan. and the drops made it worse. (and too be fair, jj never was in that position a year ago either).

but 6-10 on 3rd down, 4 1st down conversions, including a td. all conversions 7+ yards. those 4 make much more of a difference than you'd think.

Will Lee continue to manage the game and improve through the season?

Yes.

My biggest concern is will he hold up and stay injury free when the SEC lines start hitting him.

Absolutely. I think this is what killed us last year. The play calling with JJ combined with his poor play made us one of the worst third down conversion teams in the nation. We stalled on many drives due to this. JL was able to convert some crucial third downs for us that directly linked to winning 3 games last year.

With JJ our offense was WAY WAY near the bottom of the NCAA... I have said this before... JJ is a good practice QB...put him in the game and he looks like a deer in the head lights...

GO LEE....MY MAN

Lee's year end stats will be much better than JJ in any past year.

The bottom line is that the chains continue to move more than with JJ.

I hope he improves as the year goes on. He should take some confidence from the Oregon game. Not because he played good, it was decent by all accounts, but because he didn't hurt the team with mistakes and made some nice throws. If he comes out looking like shite against NW, I will be highly concerned. Now is the time to improve and become a confident QB. He was extremely nervous against Oregon, many of our guys were, and he needs to get over that in time for the other big games. Just as I felt with JJ as the startere, Lee is our QB. I will support him as long as he represents us well. If his play starts to hurt the team, give someone else a chance to improve the position.

I hope so. That will mean he improved. As it stands now, they would end just about the same as JJ's.

I would prefer that to the JJ deer caught in the headlights effect where he can't decide his options and runs. I think he depends to much on his running because of his passing skills.

Lee is the better qb, hands down... u could see the poise and control, he seemed to understand what was going on.... JJ always seemed confused unless he was tucking the ball and running... the small mistakes lee did make are easily corrected and i expect him to improve each week, not to mention it seems like the team looks to him as a leader, JJ was never a leader....ever

There's about as much sense in this post as there was in your last.

You're on a roll, turbo. Try not to burn out too early.

Are u having a bad life? I mean if you disagree with an opinion, why not just say what you have to say instead of being an a-hole?

Only when it is a better QB.

Objectively, no.

Maybe I'm an a-hole. Seriously, that's always a possibility.
