First people thought then and even moreso now that Tim Tebow was the second, third, and fourth coming of Christ.
Secondly, He lost 5 games that year. The stats mean nothing if you lose.
Third....EVERYBODY knows that the best player to step on the field that year was D-Mac. He got robbed by the ball-licking media that was in love with Tebow.
Lastly Bradford, Oklahoma, and the Big 12 in general got exposed for the video game offensive frauds that they were when the FINALLY played a real defense. Heck if Jarret Lee played the big 12 last year he probably would have won the heisman.

Maybe its just elite programs that dont get that luxury? I just didnt think fans were ready to say we are no longer an elite team, So now we have to take the time to progress, rather than reload. My mistake.

Doc shut up. The punting team covers a punt, the return team returns a punt. If you had ever played football you would understand the terminology.
