I mean I don't think it was wild to expect the thing that's happened for the last 3 years to happen again this year.
I thought the pitching would improve as well and I was wrong about that. I do think there were some other posts in there that were kinda wild though.

Damn…after reading my post I feel stupid for eating the cheese early on. Lesson learned

You could look at this group on paper and see that there was natural talent and depth everywhere. Some of the guys didn't play up to their natural ability, some injuries definitely played a factor, and I'll still say that this season looks entirely different with a healthy Cooper Moore.
I think a lot of people don't understand what losing 6 innings a weekend does to a pitching staff.
Whatever though. It is what it is. I'm over this season. Very excited for the portal.

I don’t really disagree with anything you said. I just think sometimes people like to make definitive statements as if they know all and lash out when anyone questions them. I’m not surprised that we had a down year, however I am surprised that it got as bad as it did. I think Jay will get it fixed and we’ll be making another run in Omaha within the next two years.
That opinion is probably way too “neutral” for some people on this board but it’s how I feel. Maybe one day I’ll have more bold takes and definitives answers to everything, but as of now I don’t.

Many others on here like to pretend that they know all.
Pointing out that some people have no clue wtf they are talking about does not equal pretending to know all.

There is nothing to be concerned about with the pitching lol
This! Literally setting strikeout records and people act like we are dog water
