Honest question here...do we really think Joe craves a shot at Ohio State? I think he still has a lot of love for that school, as demonstrated tonight, and playing them might not be something he actively seeks.
As far as movie scripts go, though, him vs. Ohio State would be better than anything Hollywood could dream up.

Honestly don’t know. And I doubt he’ll ever say. He’ll say all the right things as always.
He does have love for the school but I just think he’d love to complete this circle of his journey with them.
You can love someone and still want to beat their arse in competition
Especially if you feel like they didn’t appreciate you as much as you appreciate them
But no doubt he’ll happily take down the defending champs and end their 29 game win streak if that’s what is dealt.

We beat Clemson in 1958, Oklahoma in 2003, and Ohio State in 2007, all in New Orleans, to win a national championship. I'll take a rematch against any of those.

Joe’s dad has said in previous interviews that Joe wants OSU in the natty. I’m sure he loves the school as a graduate, but they didn’t believe in him enough to start him after 3 years.
