Let USC keep losing and O keep winning and I wonder how long before they come knocking. There are fans there now clamoring for a change. I'm sure O's name has come up. Would you rather O not have a bitter taste in his mouth concerning LSU after another good year this season or go into this season thinking that he's been treated fairly? Every nega will say let him go we've got Aranda. Who has never coached at a head coach level anywhere. I say if the man is doing a good job I want him to stay.

Yeah Steve didn't light the world on fire but three offensive coordinators since 2015 is difficult as it is negas want to make it 4.

I dont Think Orgeron could have anywhere near this level of success most places.
He would have been a disaster at Syracuse.

Top-10 final ranking - Top-10 recruiting class - and did it out of the SEC West. No AD has him on their radar? How damn football-stupid ARE you?

1. Support staff
Syracuse doesn’t have the money to pay his coaching staff like LSU does. No Aranda. No analysts. He’s not getting top end X’s and O’s guys to pick up that slack.
There are too many gaps in Os coaching style that LSU can afford to fill that Syracuse cannot
2. Recruiting
New York recruiting pool vs Louisiana recruiting pool.
Louisiana produces significantly more 4 stars, and New York almost never produces 5 stars.
O is a Louisiana born coach, selling the Only Louisiana P5 school to Louisiana Playersz
3. He took over a much better program at LSU
From 2012-2015 LSU averaged 9.25 wins a year. And those were “down years”
The 4 recruiting classes prior (2012-2016) averaged a ranking of 3.75
In the same time period Syracuse averaged 5.5 wins and the 4 prior classes averaged 61.25
LSU already had half his current staff hired when he took over.
4. 2016 Syracuse was more like 2005 Ole Miss than 2017 LSU

Does the player believe in coach O? If so, then they should have no doubt he would be here in 4 years even if his contract is up in 3.
This negative recruiting only works for players who don’t believe in the coach. Those players probably aren’t coming here anyway.
And does being under contract mean he will for sure be here for another 4 years? No. He can still he fired at any time.
It’s just an excuse for incompetence at the highest level.
