That is what you’re worried about?
Giving out a 10-year contract for $13 Million to an smug/overrated Prima Donna entitled smart arse who has never won anything and will leave when the next opportunity crosses his path.....yeah that worries me.
The fact that someone will pay the buyout when he leaves doesn't make me feel o.k. about bending over for that slimeball.

It's absolutely in line with pretty much everything he's ever done. So much so that the school he's at is threatening to fire him amid perhaps one of the best years in their football history.

Tru dat
it is not his fault that college football decided to be a semi-pro environment.
don't like it - but looking for true love in a whorehouse is not the best way to approach the hunt.

Old Piss said they would suspend him, preventing him from coaching the Egg Bowl. Would that piss him off enough to take either the LSU or UF job? Probably.
Sexton wants more than the $13 mill a year Old Piss is offering. They will have to sweeten the deal to keep him. Lane may not "care about money" BUT Jimmy Sexton does!

What the Hell has he won?
What coach do you want?
Now answer your own question.
Man this is a beautiful point and a question I doubt he can answer! No one on the market has won any championship. The ones that have Dabo and Ryan day people would scoff at as well.

Kiff has done nothing to deserve any of this. He is exceptional at coaching and has remained quiet, as he is under contract and is honoring it. OM wont fire him...they have no cause. If they do they'll owe him the balance, and still need a new coach.
They are just hoping he goes elsewhere, so his contract can be voided.
Staying quiet is not a reason for termination. They'd be fricking themselves and the program for years to come
