Baseball will follow Johnny Jones' precedent.

Art Howe is going to come in as an asst coach.

Places in BR that are showing the world series games? Ain't the same without LSU, but still I'd like to watch some.

They're on ESPN2. If the "sports bar" you attend doesn't have it, they are doing it wrong.

When you are separated from it, like we are this year, it becomes very apparent how insignificant the College World Series truly is.

College baseball has been slowly growing in popularity since ESPN has been stepping up their regional and super regional coverage (and schools had been starting to put more money into programs before that as well). It just sucks that ESPN happens to be doing this right as and after the NCAA took a big ole dooky all over the sport. I think and hope the new ball will help. I'm hoping they see the light and move the fences in a tad at TD Ameritrade, because if college baseball is truly going to catch on at the national level, it's showcase event (CWS) can't suck donkey dick like it does now.

Of course we all want LSU to win it. But that's not happening this year.

So is there a team remaining that Tiger Nation can get behind? Geaux Frogs?

I don't particularly care one way or the other. I'll cheer for whoever is playing Ole Miss if I happen to be tuned into one of their games.

I love the game of baseball and love LSU baseball, but I really do have a hard time sitting down to watch a college game that doesn't involve LSU nowadays. Makes me genuinely sad that it's come to this. I used to love watching college baseball. Would go to non-LSU regional games at the Box all the time and would watch every CWS, even on the rare occasion that it didn't involve LSU.

I'm confident things will come around, and the new ball I think will be great for the game.

The CWS needs to be moved away from Omaha. This is beyond ridiculous. Any nominations?
