The Official BCS Thread 10/25 - LSU still #9
Let's assume Oklahoma State beats Texas, but Texas wins out and wins the Big12 title game...

You would put an undefeated Cincinnati team in over an 1-loss Texas team?
I think a problem here might be that OSU wins the Big 12 South if they defeat UT lol.

If we beat Bama I do not see us losing to OM or Ark... A win in Tuscaloosa would give this team a huge confidence boost! The SECCG against UF would be EPIC!!!

Well Ok State would to lose too of course. But Texas' schedule is so weak, I don't think they stand a chance with 1 loss

Because Iowa plays a harder schedule. And I ran the computer simulation using the equations the Colley Matrix uses and Iowa comes out ahead.

THIS...

"USC ahead of LSU is stupid, we lost to the #1 team in the country they lost to an unranked team that we beat"

I don't know exactly what I said, but we know how polls work, the early loss helps you move up faster. LSU and USC's schedules are comparable and they have the record. LSU will probably eventually jump USC when pollsters evaluate everything on the whole.

I don't think my opinion changed on this from last week to this week.

What are the chances we meet USC in the the Sugar Bowl if Oregon Beats them and wins the Pac10?

What happens here? Iowa and Texas in the National Championship? LSU is the SEC champs at 12-1?

Orange and Fiesta get first choice before the Sugar and they wouldn't let USC go.

Iowa got a first place vote...really?

There is already proof that everybody won't put 1 a loss SEC team over undefeated Iowa.

Unless you are talking about a three way tie in the Big 12 South again

Yeah - you are right. So let's say they do (or Texas loses to Kansas). Cincy would be in much better shape than Texas.

I think it is complete BS for an undefeated BCS team to get left out for a 1 loss team.

The USC love is fricking ridicuous too.

Sorry for your time but is this possible?

Florida vs Texas -BCS Title
Georgia Tech vs Penn st - Orange
Boise State vs Cincinnati - Fiesta
LSU vs USC - Sugar
Oregon vs Iowa -Rose

This would of course mean us Winning out and losing to the Gators in the Sec Title

No, don't think so.

1) Sugar would much rather 1-loss Bama than 2 loss LSU

Boise State vs Cincinnati - Fiesta

1) Why would the Fiesta Bowl take Boise and Cincy instead of USC? They wouldn't.
