He'll take it and get desparate after next season when he loses his average 3 games a season and the fans go into revolt for paying him more than they pay their players. The following year Bama will shell out more money for players and get caught again. Then Nick Saban will be HC at Bama when they finally get the death penalty.

A - He didn't have NFL aspirations just to jump ship in 2 years to the team he hated most in the SEC

If he goes to Bama after leaving first LSU then Miami...it'll show how much of a mercenary he really is. Not to mention he'll probably be stuck at Bama for a while because everyone will hang the mercenary tag on him.
Best thing he can do is hang out at Miami for at least another year and see if he can turn that program around. Money's not everything....especially if you wear out your welcome throughout the South.

If he has not agreed yet on becoming Alabama head coach, then whoever is named HC will be way behind on recruiting. If he does not become the head coach and because he changes his mind this late, Bama can blaime thenselves for waiting for his answer. I believe it has to be a done deal.
