The NCAA needs to stop Michigan or any other university from taking team trips out of the country paid by boosters . This is an unfair recruiting tool and takes advantage over other universities. The Michigan foodball team is going to South Africa the trip will be paid for my two boosters where is the NCAA on this?

If Jim Harbaugh wants to do Jim Harbaugh things, then let him go. Who cares. I am sure that money could be put to better use somewhere else, but it's their money so IDGAF.

First off, I think it's great that Harbaugh is taking these kids to see other countries and learn gin something besides football. Some of these kids have not seen the outside of a small house. This exposure is great for them, so good on UM

That said, Harbaugh would be good to concentrate on getting is team to Indy and the Big 10 title game as much as other countries

The trips aren't exactly making Michigan better on the field. Who cares?

It’s not like his tactics are helping them on the field.

Didn’t they go 8-4 last year?

you really think a top recruit is going to pick a school based on a summer field trip?

seems like an easy way to recruit against harbaugh. trips to the playoff and nfl draft stage sell more than trips to south africa and the outback bowl.

Why? It isn’t like others programs don’t have boosters that can afford to do the same and more.

I agree. Let these kids see how other cultures live and perhaps they'll appreciate what they've got even more. Broadening their horizons and learning is what college should be about. Maybe when they go pro, they'll realize how oppressed they're really not ?

This is a really good point, and I bet the players respect that he is willing to do this for them and want to play hard for him. Harbaugh, let's face it, is kind of a dick (but most good coaches are) so anything like this helps.

I do not care where teams go to practice, or play, and if it is by donations, who cares. If I was making a few million a year, I would pay for LSU to go train somewhere too!
