EVERYONE knows LSU has won 8 in 2008, 9 in 2009, 11 in 2010 and 13 in 2011 WITH EFFECTIVELY A POOR QB.

They also know that our Coach is either and idiot or has a big secret he will not be disclosing to account for his decisions.

They also know that Mett, Rivers, Randall and Kiel are all potentially serious SEC QB's. I personally think we have at least one Tommy Hodson, maybe more, among these groups.

They know we have the most starters returning from any team in the nation, save perhaps the beloved USC Trojans.

They know that Arkansas will be the only team on our roster next year who is as good as they are this year (Bama is losing a ton of key defensive starters/contributors, their beast RB and their best reciever), and that LSU has an OU kinda of schedule for next year, which is a comparable layup (vs 2011) with 8 home games.

They know that Honey Badger is not going to drop off the cliff, and will be nasty again.

They know our Defense will be at least a top 20 national defense, and likely a top 5 defense next year.

They know our excellent special teams are left almost completely in tact for next year.

They know that our Oline will be returning most of the starters and key contributors, and will have better skill with Collins likely starting, etc...

They know all of our backs are good and all are back.

They know that Chiefs brand of defense, bend but don't break, forcing rare TD's or long/lots FGs will be in place.

They know that Krags will be working with the above-named Qb's without any time needed to fix major issues like with JJ and Lee.

They know that Miles, with all the above, and finally a real SEC Qb, will not have much of a chance to screw the pooch.

The nation knows LSU may top this year with a top 10 defense joined by a top 20 offense.

The nation knows this.

And, many of the voters will give us the same rank consideration out of the gate they typically give to OU for having a relatively easy schedule.

We'll be ranked 1st or 2nd in every poll that matters to start the year.

The nation knows LSU has a great chance of making it to Miami next January.

Time to look forward !

Give it up. Les will still be our coach.

He was gift wrapped one of the greatest defenses in LSU history this year, and still couldn't even make it competitive with Bama in the title game.

Les is done after last night's game. No one will respect his coaching ability after that.

I hate to say it, but think of this as his true Coker moment. An inexplicable loss (not for losing in this case, but how) in a title game. Miami players lost a ton of respect for Coker after that game, and the program started to fall. Their "swagger" diminished.

Memories fade. How many people went into last nights game thinking about the Tenn meltdown last year? Very few, if any.

Once we start putting up a passing threat to open the lanes for Kenny Hilliard and the boys to run, folks will not compare this JJ-led offense in anyway to next year.

Great post.

The QB fallout that started with RP and lasted through the loss of ZLee is finally over.

Les has done a great job recruiting talented QB's in the last couple years and I think with kragthorpe able to develop them we'll be able to capitalize on our awesome depth of talent.

Last night hurt no doubt. I still feel sick to my stomach thinking about it - but my Tums has been in the form of realizing that we will be back in that BCSNCG very soon.

Until the next season happens, I will have this feeling that last night could potentially be a major program altering event that could tear a locker room to pieces. Our team will be stacked next year, and you can see possible confusion amongst players about last night that could lead to internal problems with trusting the coaching. We could end up imploding at the first sign of trouble and have a not so great season. Now I am not saying it will happen, but I can't shake the thought of it being a possibility.

Not to mention, I will never trust Miles again. I let him fool me into a sense of security thinking 2008-mid 2010 was a byproduct his first two recruiting class failures and staff bombs that had since been improved. Bad QB or not, there was way more wrong last night.

Also if we even want to think about just being competitive with Bama the rest of the time Saban is there, we have to cash in next year while they are reloading. After that, they are building a machine that will not let up, and we have to keep up the pace with putting out our image to lure recruits a quality that can compete with them.

Great post brother

Sad to see it being derailed by Miles bashing idiots.

I've said it a lot on here over the past 24 hours, but I've never been as embarrassed of our fans as I am now.

My thoughts go to Bama vs. Utah four years ago.

Time will tell what the legacy of this game is.

Are we 13-1 or 1-13? Just saying. Two days ago Les was a genius and JJ has a terrible game and now Les is a idiot. Les should have pulled him true, but he doesn't have much faith in Lee. I will trust Les.

I'm embarrassed at myself. Need to step back from it all. Lost my Grandma tonight. Should have died last week. Everyone was saying she's waiting till after the game...she did..Tough week!
